Tips to keep your skin healthy and tanned

Sometimes having opened the invitation to the wedding or other party you gaze into the mirror and recoil in horror. Who can that pasty-faced individiual be who is looking back at me, and why has the face got no colour? We are not all the English rose type with perfect pale skin, so there is nothing wrong with a pale complexion.

So what are the alternatives to consider that will improve your skincare, and give you that ‘just returned from a holiday look?

Exercise

The ideal way to achieve that look of skin perfection, is to start an exercise programme or intensify an existing one. Exercise routines have never been known to hurt anyone, and indeed can contribute to the well being of the skin. Water and exercise are the two most important requirements, and replenishment of the former is needed after most has evaporated. Water is the single most important mineral that the body needs for the production of healthy skin cells. Drink plenty of water and your skin will radiate with health!

Fake tan

Above I have mentioned natural ways to improve the quality and appearance of your skin, which should be in place to underpin the next step of the process. Unless your holiday dates fall perfectly close to the great event, then it will not be possible to have that sunned look without the dreaded exposure on a sunbed. This may well be a reasonable route to take, but it has to be used with caution because of the harmful UV rays.

Perhaps the best route to take is the use of the Sun laboratories technique, which is one of the best spray tanning systems on the market. The finish is excellent, and looks like the real thing without the burn, and can last for quite a while. This is best used with a quality moisturiser like Elemis, which has an anti-ageing property and is created from natural products.
